Metro Place at Dunn Loring

Metro Place at Dunn Loring is the closest townhome community to the Dunn Loring/Merrifield metro. It is two blocks to the metro – across Gallows road and sheltered behind the Westbriar condominiums.

When the construction is completed in 2015, there will be a Harris Teeter across the street next to the metro. There is ample dining and shopping opportunities in the Halstead Square area as well as farther down Gallows at the Mosaic District.

The homes were built in the early 2000’s by Ryan Homes.

The community has no common amenities like a pool or tennis courts etc. As a result, the condominium fees are low.

There are two model types – the Scarborough model is a 4 level townhome that is either 3 or 4 levels. The garage is rear entry – hence there is no backyard.  The Amherst model is a 3 level home typically with 3 or 4 bedrooms. The Amherst has a front load garage, hence there is a fenced in rear yard.
